Mary Katrantzou

Philosophy

The Greek designer Mary Katrantzou creates her own womenswear label after her studies at Rhode Island School of Design and later at Central St. Martins.

Katrantzou won three time the New Generation sponsorship of the British Fashion Council and she presented for the first time her collection at London Fashion Week in 2008.

Her philosophy is to create art and put it on unconventional and independent women.

Colour and architecture are two key words which describe the brand’s mood, that include short and stretch items, high waist and one shoulders dresses with train for special events, with multiple and juxtaposed patterns.

Flowers, nature, seabed, tropical forests, stripes and bows, silk jersey; all these elements on dresses, suits, skirts.

The colour palette embraces all the shades into a colour artistic balance.

Suitable for independent and lively spirits, Mary Katrantzou is loved by original, creative women, who want to fight boredom with fantasy.
