Philosophy
The American fashion designer Jeremy Scott was born in Kansas City, Missouri.
After attending the fashion courses at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, Jeremy began his career in Paris, presenting unusual collections.
His reputation as an "over the top" designer and the partnership with pop stars and celebrities, made his success.
His "unconventional" work is often characterized by the "one-legged pants" and garments inspired by fast foods.
He has been dubbed “the Jeff Koons of fashion” for his constant references to pop culture icons; not surprisingly Mickey Mouse fits everywhere on dresses and t-shirts.
Scott has also created for the sportswear brand Adidas, an irresistible collection, proposing harem pants, fringed and sequined tank tops.
The designer is known for his ironic and irreverent prints, but also for bag collections created for the brand Longchamp.
"Adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott" offers the popular winged sneakers, which quickly become a real bestseller.
Working closely with the Keith Haring Foundation, Scott creates a pair of shoes enriched with the popular artist’s graphics.
The American designer renewed also the Swatch watches, putting wings and arrows and adapting them his urban style.
Stars and stripes are recurring features, and also the sequined cheeleader dresses and the animalier sneakers.
Bright colours and kaleidoscopic effects are the trait d'union of Scott’s style, for those who like to be a real protagonist.
