Barbara Bonner is a bags and accessories brand conceived in London and made in Italy, characterized by a hippie soul and a creative, rebellious spirit.
With a maternal grandmother who was a travelling circus performer and her paternal grandfather a skilled diamond cutter, Italian-born Barbara travelled the world extensively in her youth: from London to Toronto to Boston to Washington DC and back to Italy, her life is a melting pot of nomadic experiences which have influenced her design aesthetic.
After winning an Ma in Fashion Marketing and Communication in Milan she studied at Central St Martins in London.
Drawing inspiration from her adventurous life, Barbara Bonner creates her bags using amazing skins and mixing classic lines with a hippie deluxe vibe with unique details, such as ultra long fringes, producing exquisite and extraordinary pieces for a contemporary, strong women.
Barbara Boner is stocked in over 50 locations all around the world, including Dolce&Gabbana, Coggles, Feathers, Barney’s, Tsvetnoy and Luisaviaroma; the company has gained a loyal following of celebrity admirers including Olivia Palermo, Poppy Delevingne and Kate Moss, a real must-have in every fashionistas wardrobe.
