Philosophy
United Nude is a London-based brand of footwear for women and men.
It all begins when the designer Rem D. Koolhaas wants to win back his girlfriend, re-scaling the smallest and most vulnerable human body’s architecture, that of a woman's foot.
Generally the most romantic notions are foolish, so Koolhaas created the “Möbius” shoes as his love's inspiration; the girl did not come back, but the shoe has become reality, thanks to the support of Galahad, one of the heirs of the Clark’s dynasty.
After their first meeting, the duo launched their own footwear label, United Nude; the name comes from the fact that products evolve from an international team’s work with a direct acknowledgment.
Since Mobius was launched in 2003, United Nude has established itself as an iconic brand, a point of intersection between design and fashion; its philosophy focuses on colorful shoes with high heels, with a highly architectural and conceptual design.
The result is a curious intersection between design and fashion, that joins aesthetics and innovation.
Fluorescent colours, faceted materials, ergonomic shapes and complex structures, make these shoes real masterpieces, with semi-futuristic echoes.
United Nude reinterprets classic footwear making it attractive and contemporary, with sharp or sinuous unexpected colours, an eccentric taste and a witty mood.
