Spektre is a Milan-based brand of sunglasses, launched in 2009.
The Cattolica graduate Niccolòs Pocchini is a young businessman who decides to apply the academic finance into his own brand.
After inspecting all the glasses industry in Lombardia and Veneto, Nicolò chose a little factory in Varese to produce Spektre Sunglasses.
In 2011 Pocchini launches a new collection that allows him to spread the brand, in many concept stores and optical stores in Italy and worldwide.
Nicholas Pocchini mixes square frames with Carl Zeiss degradé lenses, focusing on a young target with competitive prices; this strategy grabs a big chunk of the market, and the brand become increasingly important, especially among trendsetters, fashion blogger and stylist.
Spektre relies on very effective brand’s image, with velvet packaging, limited editions made of silk and named with old Latin phrases, such as "Memento Audere Semper" or "Nothing Ethics Sine Aesthetica" or "In Hoc Signo Vinces."
Frames made of celluloid or tortoise with lenses in contrasting colors, such as purple, yellow, blue and green.
Spektre is the first European brand mixing classic frames with typical sporty details and colorful lenses, to bring a wave of innovation in the world of eyewear.
