Philosophy
Defend Paris is a French clothing and accessories line part of wider charity project for the defense of human rights.
The brand is born from the inspiration of a fashion designer, Jeremy Douay, and developed by the imagination of an artist, Brahim Zaibat, in order to convey strong social ideas and to help certain associations in connection with the broadcasted messages.
The brand has been quickly declined in other collections: Defend Human Rights, Defend Coexist and Defend Brazil that received the support of very numerous french and international musicians and other creatives.
Despite the controversial and ambiguous machine gun logo on t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, the brand has a very different purpose: to send a message of solidarity, multiculturalism and coexistence as tools for survival and growth.
For every sold item, Defend Paris donates a part of the proceeds to a specific charity, combining fashion and design with values and cultural movements.
Added to some of the best shopping in the world such as Selfridges and Citadium, it is worn by celebrities such as Madonna, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Steve Aoki, Kendrick Lamar, Zachary Quinto and many others which have contributed to a massive hype.
