Philosophy
Palmer Harding is a British total-look clothing brand for men and women designed by Levi Palmer and Matthew Harding, well-known for the directional design and high quality of their modern shirting.
Levi, originally from Texas, had previously studied womenswear and pattern-cutting at El Centro College in Dallas before moving to London in 2005 to study menswear at Central Saint Martins. Matthew is from London and studied womenswear at Central Saint Martins and subsequently received a bursary from Giorgio Armani.
Together launched their debut collection for spring/summer 2011, focusing on the everyday and traditionally neglected garment in a wardrobe, the shirt, and exploring its possibilities.
Using thoughtful tailoring, detailing and shape, Palmer Harding seeks to re-invent a classic iconic design of the shirt, remaining faithful to its traditional features but bringing a fresh new touch.
Their key garment is still the same but they have expanded their product range for spring/summer 2014 by introducing skirts, trousers and dresses to their line.
Since its launch Palmer Harding has attracted international media attention and the collections have featured US and British Vogue, Marie Claire, The Independent Magazine, Telegraph Fashion and In Style magazines.
The label is available internationally throughout North America, Europe, the Far East, in prestigious stores and globally recognised retailers.
