Delfina Delettrez is a jewelry collection for women, vaguely Gothic, created by the designer, daughter of Silvia Venturini Fendi, a leading name in the Italian fashion, and the French jeweler Bernard Delettrez.
Delfina Delettrez has achieved, only in three years, a great success, creating several collections: she collaborated with the famous French fashion house Causse, creating precious gloves, she enriched Alain Mikli’s glasses and sunglasses, and she also collaborated with the Italian shoes designer Giuseppe Zanotti.
Skulls, dragons, snakes, animals, giant frogs, crosses, metal implants, mouths and eyes, called "charms" or amulets, give an unique charm to dark creations.
Through her ironic and disturbing drawings, Delettrez exorcises the memories of childhood games and fairy tales, taking inspiration by the world of Maya, the Surrealism and Neo Gothic.
The designer works gold, silver, iron, bronze, Tuscan marble, ceramic, exotic wood, Murano glass and crystals; these precious stones are mixed with organic matter, in order to create glamorous creations, definitely over the top.
