Philosophy
The fashion house Versace launched the second line Versus in 1989, directed by Donatella Versace, proposing a more affordable “total look”.
After four years of impasse, Versus rises from its ashes in 2005, thanks to the “enfant prodige of Fashion” Christopher Kane, who is still leads the creative department; the designer proposes tasteful and plain garments, with eccentric details metallic glow and lace inserts
The third generation women, lovers of glamour and mini lengths, wears pleated skirts, bustier, dresses embellished with pins and slots, but also mat printed t-shirt, as well as accessories including shoes, bags, glasses.
Draping, asymmetry, tailoring, soft volumes, bright and soft colours, suspenders, topwear made of fabric strips which reveal the body; these elements characterize the Versus contemporary style, halfway between a rock mood and charming bon ton, always ready to experiment with new designs.
